We believe in providing a happy, secure and stimulating environment which promotes active learning.
Children’s learning outcomes are enhanced when provided with a quality early learning environment which provides them with endless opportunities to participate in play experiences. These experiences provide opportunities to practice life skills, develop thinking and to make sense of the world through investigation, manipulation, questioning and discovery. We encourage children to make choices and learn through play, offering children continuous positive guidance and support.
Children’s development varies and our staff plan according to children’s individual needs and interests as well as the whole group. Children are unique and we respect and embrace their diverse cultures, abilities and interests.
We encourage and support respectful relationships with our families and the community to foster involvement in children’s learning and ongoing involvement in our centre.
We believe in the importance of offering children a balance that involves both quiet and energetic activities throughout each day both indoors and outdoors. Children and staff are encouraged to actively respect and care for the environment and one another through positive role modelling.
We believe that an environment should be provided which meets educational, hygiene, safety and nutritional needs.
We believe in respectfulness, diversity, the right to learn and play, equity, positive relationships and reflective practices.
Hours of Operation
The Centre operates Monday to Friday between 7:00 a.m. till 6:30 p.m.
The Centre is closed during Victorian Public Holidays and 2 weeks over the Christmas period.
Where your booking is permanent, full time or part time, full fees will apply on the following days:
- For any days away
- For leave due to illness
- For holidays taken during the year
- For public holidays
Please note: If the Centre closes over Christmas no fees will apply. Please see a staff member for more information.
